Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with our Business Development team to assist potential partners in defining and realizing their business objectives and value creation through Amazon Web Services.
In this role, you will work alongside the AWS Business Development Manager to guide clients through the discovery process, gathering requirements to deeply understand their challenges, procurement aspirations, and overall journey.
Senior Solutions Architects possess a wealth of experience engaging with senior customer stakeholders, are adept in the procure-to-pay process, and are well-versed in a broad spectrum of cloud services and solutions.
They contribute to the advancement of AWS services and technologies by delivering direct insights and customer feedback to internal product and technical teams.
Collaboration and Influence
The ideal candidate will engage closely with Business Development, Sales, Implementation, Product, and Technical teams. They will demonstrate the ability to influence decision-makers through a consultative sales approach, ideally drawing from previous sales or presales experience to facilitate decision-making and secure customer commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with complex partners and customers to formulate sales strategies for enterprise transformation.
- Collaborate as a key member of the business development and sales management teams to ensure successful migration of applications, software, and services to the AWS platform.
- Drive global multi-tower customer transformations for Fortune 1000 clients.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer systems to provide viable solutions that align with their goals using AWS Cloud.
- Prepare strategic agreements in partnership with legal and sales proposals alongside the business development team.
- Maintain close communication with Sales to provide updates and insights gained during customer discovery.
- Relay market needs and requirements back to internal AWS service teams.
- Collaborate and influence key stakeholders both externally and internally within Amazon.
- Design scalable mechanisms to share insights and establish new processes and engagement workflows.
- Partner with other Amazon business lines to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.
