Customer Support Representative

Position 1 and 2:
Shift Time: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Work Week: Tuesday - Saturday
Job Overview:
- Completion of competency assessments for both skill sets required at the CR1 level.
- Engagement in answering calls for public and internal customers, including employees, patients, and visitors, alongside documentation and work request dispatch.
- Support for special projects as needed.
- Proficiency in all phone and work request dispatch responsibilities, with the ability to cover for CR1s on any shift.
- Monitoring of environmental alarms, including doors, gates, parking lot intercoms, and CCTV systems.
- Assistance with workflow and assignments for patient transporters.
- Participation in or leadership of projects to enhance departmental support.
- Provision of feedback to management on process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and performance maximization.
- Essential functions are described herein, with management retaining the right to reassign duties as necessary.
- Execution of all position-related tasks in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Capability to manage challenging situations, providing conflict resolution when necessary.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to understand instructions, correspondence, memos, and other forms of communication.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative support role and/or customer service is preferred, with healthcare, call center, or dispatch service experience being advantageous.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Working Conditions:
- Position may require sitting or standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting of light materials (10 to 20 lbs).
- Indoor work environment with potential exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature variations, and noise.
