Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join our property management team at SUNBEAM PROPERTY & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, leasing, and administrative duties, ensuring seamless operations and maximum client profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Manage financial records, including income and expenses, and ensure timely payment processing.
    • Maintain accurate records of revenue collection and depositing.
    • Handle delinquencies, late notices, and evictions while maintaining a high collection rate.
    • Monitor and deposit laundry revenue according to company policies.
    • Review utility bills for accurate billing of occupied apartments.
  • Leasing, Marketing, and Administrative Management:
    • Supervise and train staff members as needed.
    • Show properties to prospective tenants and discuss available amenities and features.
    • Qualify prospective tenants and negotiate leasing terms.
    • Inspect properties regularly and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs.
    • Follow company policies and equal housing opportunity guidelines.
    Requirements:
    • Prior experience in property management for at least three years is required.
    • High school diploma/GED is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Property Management or Real Estate License is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Experience with property management software is required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience.
