About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at First Insurance Group. As an Account Executive, High Net Worth Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of service for clients and understanding their needs before they know it themselves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Perform all service needs including applications, quotations, ID cards, endorsements, binders, billings, renewals, action items and correspondence on assigned accounts and enter and maintain underwriting information in computer.
  • Communication: Receive, document and process all insureds', producers' and insurance companies', requests for service and to submit this information to insurance companies in a timely manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledgeable of all personal lines products and rating procedures.
  • Business Development: Conduct annual coverage surveys and recommend/sell additional coverage and/or increases in limits.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare quotes for both on new and renewal business and prepare proposals according to FNIC standards.
  • Client Meetings: Available to attend and/or lead in-person and/or virtual meetings for qualified accounts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain client files on Agency Management System and use computer system for processing transactions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of current underwriting and policy provisions, including binding authority, of contracted insurance carriers for High Net Worth markets.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly production, status & progress reports for management.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality reviews as requested.
  • Policy Enforcement: Continually evaluate and enforce High Net Worth policies, procedures, workflows and documentations.
  • Business Management: Manage and maintain a designated book of business.

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license
  • 10 years Personal Account Manager Experience or 5 years Personal Account Manager? Experience and a CISR or CPCU designation
  • 3+ years of experience with Personal Lines High Net Worth markets
  • AAI, CIC, CPCU, and/or CISR designations obtained or commitment to obtain preferred
  • Knowledgeable of all personal lines products and rating procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and electronic mail system (e.g., Outlook)
  • Proficiency in office equipment such as computer, copier, and phone
  • Proficiency in word processing and typing skills
  • Strong respect for confidentiality
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
  • Ability to conform with and abide by all workplace policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with company employees and external contacts
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of Applied Epic system experience
