  • Identify, assess, and nurture commercial insurance opportunities with both new and existing clients through various channels, including face-to-face meetings, digital platforms, phone communications, and written correspondence.

  • Engage in networking, partnerships, and strategic initiatives to attract new clients and business opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on critical metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved, while maintaining accurate sales records in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members, support staff development, share expertise, attend meetings, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions as required.
  • Guide clients through renewal processes, ensuring client retention and fostering long-lasting client relationships.

  • Review client audits, resolve discrepancies, and manage accounts receivable and billing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Possess the required insurance license in your state along with a minimum of two years of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance account management, and either a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, rating processes, underwriting practices, coverages, and industry standards to effectively secure new business and retain existing clients.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in business-to-business sales, showcasing strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Display excellent interpersonal skills, focus on customer needs, and show professional assertiveness in building new client relationships and supporting current clients.
  • Showcase exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex tasks independently, sound business judgment, effective decision-making abilities, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate proficiency in technology and computer usage, including familiarity with agency management systems.
