This role is primarily focused on managing licensing processes for producers and claims adjusters within our organization and affiliated agencies. Key responsibilities include overseeing continuing education requirements and maintaining accurate databases.

This position offers a hybrid work model with two remote days each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review new and renewal applications for producer licenses, ensuring compliance with state insurance regulations.
  • Assist with the licensing and maintenance of internal claims adjusters.
  • Provide essential administrative support, including document handling, mail distribution, and other office-related tasks.
  • Engage in various duties as required, such as contributing to special projects and managing subscription renewals.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent proofreading capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and similar software.
  • Ability to interpret and understand insurance department directives and bulletins.
  • Capable of following written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Review records for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently.
Preferred Knowledge

This is an entry-level position.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience (licensing experience is not mandatory).
  • Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with state laws and regulations regarding licensing and appointment.
  • Understanding of insurance and legal terminology.
