Requirements
  • Knowledge and Education
    • Knowledge of restorative and preventive information and techniques
    • Knowledge of dental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment
    • DDS/DMD or international equivalent from an accredited dental school program
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Active license to practice dentistry
    • Valid CPR certification
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, students, staff, faculty, and administration
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work effectively in a group setting

  • Experience
    • Previous teaching or practice experience is preferred

  • Faculty should have sufficient motor function to execute movements essential to teaching and demonstration
  • Must be able to operate controls, use high-speed or low-speed dental handpieces for tooth preparation procedures, and use hand instrumentation including scalpels for surgical procedures
Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $40 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
