Job Title: Pre-Clinical/Clinical Faculty in Pediatric Dentistry

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pre-Clinical/Clinical Faculty to join our team in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pediatric dentistry at the pre-doctoral level, providing clinical instruction, and participating in departmental activities. The faculty member will work closely with the department chair and other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum, assess student performance, and contribute to the department's mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach pediatric dentistry courses to pre-doctoral students
  • Provide clinical instruction in pediatric dentistry
  • Participate in departmental activities, including curriculum development and assessment
  • Contribute to the department's mission and goals
Requirements:
  • DDS/DMD or international equivalent degree from an ADA-accredited school of dentistry
  • Certificate or Master's degree in pediatric dentistry from an ADA-accredited program
  • Current, active license to practice dentistry
  • Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Experience in teaching and clinical practice in pediatric dentistry

Compensation:

The hiring range for this position is $50 per hour. The University of the Pacific considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
