Cybersecurity Chief of Staff Job Description

Job Summary: Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Chief of Staff to support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the cybersecurity team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and coordination of cybersecurity initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Assist the CISO in developing and implementing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the cybersecurity team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring the protection of the organization's information assets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate and manage the response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and implement cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cybersecurity initiatives and operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
  • Pay Range: $100 - $110 per hour
