Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of captive insurance companies in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Work closely with a broader team of professionals to ensure all compliance, finance, and accounting requirements are met.
- Prepare regulatory filings and premium tax returns.
- Prepare supporting materials for annual Board meetings.
- Reconcile loss and investment report data.
- Oversee cash management for assigned portfolio.
- Support and collate key financial information for captive audits/examinations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and regulatory filings.
What You'll Need
- Experience in preparing financial statements with GAAP or related experiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- Experience managing several projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor of Accounting/Finance/Business Administration degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior captive experience beneficial but not required.
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Thrive in a team environment and able to work well independently.
