Aon's Captive & Insurance Management team is a dynamic and integral part of our global operations. As an Insurance Officer, you will play a key role in managing over 1,000 captive insurance companies across 39 locations worldwide, representing more than 15% of the captive insurance market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of insurance needs for clients from various industries, including advising on insurance matters and collaborating with clients, brokers, reinsurers, and tax/legal counsel.
  • Serve as the primary contact on insurance-related matters and effectively communicate program details to ensure understanding by all parties.
  • Ensure timely and efficient organization of insurance and reinsurance documentation.
  • Coordinate efforts with outside brokers/consultants to lead renewals or implement new programs.
  • Collaborate closely with financial professionals on the internal client service team to ensure a comprehensive and dovetailed approach to meeting clients' needs.
  • Communicate changes to the client insurance program/business plan with state regulators.
  • Prepare and present materials during annual client board meetings, ensuring quality and inclusion of beneficial information.

You will have the opportunity to work with a number of different roles inside and outside of Aon, including Brokers, Actuaries, Account Executives, Regulators, Investment managers, Auditors, C-Suite executives, and others.

Requirements:
  • Experience within multiple lines of commercial insurance, including Property, Casualty, Marine, Financial lines, K&R, etc.
  • First-hand brokerage and/or underwriting experience or similar background.
  • Captive experience preferred; CPCU or other insurance professional designations a plus.
  • Ability to explain various coverages and how they work, often to parties without an extensive insurance background, both internally and client-facing.
  • Proven track record of servicing clients with a high level of responsiveness to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
