Accountant, Captive and Insurance Management Specialist

Aon is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Captive and Insurance Management team. As an integral part of our global operations, this role will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our captive insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements for a portfolio of captive insurance companies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting of captive insurance companies, including cash management and reconciliation of loss and investment report data.
- Collaborate with a broader team of professionals to ensure all compliance, finance, and accounting requirements are met.
- Prepare regulatory filings and premium tax returns, as well as supporting materials for annual Board meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client team members, including corporate controllership, risk management, tax, legal, and other departments.
- Experience in preparing financial statements with GAAP or related experiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Prior captive experience is beneficial but not required.
