Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Management: Ensure seamless communication with Consult Coordinators and oversee the patient flow from initial consultation to treatment initiation.
- Insurance Coordination: Manage prior authorizations and work with physicians to secure necessary approvals from insurance providers.
- Scheduling: Assist in the scheduling of patient appointments and address any potential conflicts with medical staff availability.
- Reporting: Compile and present monthly reports on patient workflow, including failed consults, denials, and pending approvals.
- Administrative Duties: Handle various office tasks such as managing leads, reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent experience in medical office management.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on insurance processes.
