Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned media professional to lead our digital investments team at Digitas North America. As Executive Director, Digital Investments, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our channel investment teams, ensuring a consistent go-to-market approach and creating synergies with our media strategy to exceed campaign KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to channel investment teams to ensure a consistent go-to-market approach.
  • Channel Management: Manage, optimize, and expand programs for all digital marketing channels to maximize the profitability of the performance marketing spend.
  • Team Management: Oversee the work of multiple channel specialists, managing workflow and providing strategic guidance and oversight.
  • Client Management: Serve as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams for the broader digital investment portfolio.
  • Media Partnerships: Build and foster strong partnerships with relevant media partners in the digital ecosystem.
  • Analytics and Performance: Work with Analytics team to oversee client pacing & performance across digital media portfolio, leveraging historic analytics/performance to validate investment strategies, inform tactical decisions, and exhibit ongoing willingness to optimization performance for campaign success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Bring innovative solutions and out of the box thinking to partners and clients, and work alongside client finance partners to determine how best to spend their media dollars to drive outcomes.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and maintain relationships with internal practice leads and full investment team, and be a leader through strength and stability, functioning as a point of escalation for clients and team members as needed.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of media planning and buying experience, with a strong focus on performance media.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent.
  • Analytical background – comfort with data and numbers.
  • 5+ years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team.
  • Deep industry relationships with ad tech firms, brand teams, and publisher partners.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate that to our clients.
  • Strong communication and writing skills—you're poised, precise, and above all, kind when engaging with others.
  • Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking and able to see the bigger picture.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
