Position Overview:

As an Assistant Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Stepping in as the acting manager during their absence.
  • Overseeing staff shifts and assigning tasks effectively.
  • Ensuring the cash register is replenished nightly with the correct change.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of petty cash transactions.
  • Assisting in inventory management and placing orders as needed.
  • Helping to create employee schedules and addressing scheduling concerns.
  • Leading the team to ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered promptly to customers.
  • Exhibiting exceptional product knowledge and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Resolving customer complaints and food-related issues with professionalism.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying their completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicating with management regarding inventory status and order fulfillment.
  • Providing feedback on employee performance and customer service skills.
  • Managing employee break schedules to ensure timely arrivals and appropriate break durations.
  • Participating in management meetings to discuss operational improvements.
  • Sharing innovative ideas for enhancing efficiency and safety.
  • Assisting in the hiring, evaluation, and training processes.
  • Mastering training materials and effectively communicating the health benefits of our menu items.
  • Ensuring cleanliness in the front lobby and outdoor areas.
  • Delivering excellent customer service by being friendly, informative, and providing accurate wait times.
  • Processing customer transactions and taking phone orders.
  • Having a thorough understanding of menu items and following recipes to ensure quality.
  • Preparing food in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and lobby areas.
  • Organizing deliveries and keeping inventory orderly.
  • Washing dishes and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Coordinating with staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Delivering food to customers efficiently.
  • Arriving on time and adhering to break schedules.
  • Completing all opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Following sanitation guidelines rigorously.
  • Implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Monitoring food quality consistently.
  • Addressing special circumstances as they arise.
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and management.
Qualifications:
  • Food certification is required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems are essential.
  • Adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards is mandatory.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance is important.
  • A positive attitude and teamwork orientation are crucial.
  • Previous leadership experience and management skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is preferred.
Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour plus tips (approximately $1.50 - $2.50 per hour).
