Culinary Operations Supervisor - Aramark

Job Summary: The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, training, and managing the food service operations. This role ensures that the appropriate quantities of meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain work schedules while preparing production records.
  • Direct daily operational activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee food storage practices to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Ensure that all food items are served according to menu specifications and departmental guidelines.
  • Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks and manage vendor orders to ensure accurate production levels.
  • Supervise and evaluate team members, fostering growth, efficiency, and teamwork.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and provide training to food service staff.
  • Keep logs of equipment maintenance and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Assist with catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
  • Participate in food service meetings and maintain effective communication with staff.
  • Perform cashier duties as required and promote positive public relations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Director.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course is required within the first year.
  • Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively.
  • Strong organizational abilities are essential.

Minimum Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED is required.
