Position Summary:

Kennedy Jenks is in search of a Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineer to play a pivotal role in the growth and execution of industrial engineering design and construction projects as a Technical Lead.

This role encompasses industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing, along with providing engineering support during project construction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in complex projects across various sectors, including mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and manufacturing.
  • Develop and enhance your technical expertise in areas such as water and wastewater treatment, process engineering, design development, construction, commissioning, and startup assistance.
  • Collaborate within a supportive team environment, contributing to projects from initial planning through design, construction, and operational startup.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, engineering, design, construction, and commissioning.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in industrial water, wastewater management, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, and process design.

Experience in project development oversight and management, including scope, scheduling, fee preparation, negotiation, staffing, and coordination of planning, design, and construction activities is essential.

Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits is necessary. A Professional Engineer license is preferred, along with familiarity with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design software.


Work Environment:

Kennedy Jenks promotes a hybrid working model, requiring onsite presence 1-2 days at client locations.
