Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is within a reputable financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to all customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and thorough responses to requests.
  • Handle incoming calls from insurance brokers, carriers, and clients regarding premium finance accounts, documenting each conversation accurately.
  • Engage with clients regarding overdue accounts and propose suitable repayment plans to resolve delinquencies.
  • Collaborate with clients and brokers to identify the reasons for overdue payments, ensuring that solutions are tailored to the client's financial circumstances.
  • Maintain detailed notes and records for every client interaction.
  • Prepare recommendations for loan losses and write-offs as necessary.
  • Oversee the upkeep of arrears reports and ensure timely handling of customer correspondence.
  • Assess and qualify bad debt accounts for potential assignment to third-party collections or legal recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in data entry and a professional demeanor; prior collections experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant fields such as call center operations, customer service, collections, or the consumer loan sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collection calls.
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to perform basic calculations efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire; on-site position.
