As a key member of our team, you will provide essential communication support services, including clerical tasks and scheduling for patients. This role involves the collection, assessment, submission, processing, and updating of sensitive information while resolving patient access challenges in accordance with established protocols.

This position offers remote work flexibility. Company-issued laptops will be provided, but it is essential to maintain a private workspace to ensure confidentiality during patient interactions. Staff may be subject to random video audits to verify adherence to privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound inquiries via telephone and electronic medical records.
  • Schedule patient appointments in alignment with established protocols and procedures.
  • Address and resolve patient access concerns.
  • Respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers.
  • Make independent decisions during calls to manage urgent situations appropriately.
  • Utilize electronic medical records and reporting tools effectively for navigation, interpretation, and appointment scheduling.
  • Register patients accurately.
  • Document information and resolutions in the electronic medical record as per established guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service abilities.

Flexibility in scheduling, with potential evening and weekend hours.

Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within a medical office setting.
