Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of incoming inquiries, including telephone calls and electronic communications.
  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Address and resolve patient access challenges efficiently.
  • Respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers.
  • Make independent decisions to transfer or refer calls in urgent situations.
  • Utilize electronic medical records and reporting tools to manage patient information accurately.
  • Register patients and maintain accurate records of interactions.
  • Document problem resolutions in the electronic medical record system as per established guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential evenings and weekends.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
