Position Overview:
The Customer Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in managing the prompt investigation and resolution of product and service discrepancies that occur at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Investigation Management:** Oversee the comprehensive non-conformance investigation and resolution process for product and service failures at customer locations.
2. **Process Improvement:** Enhance existing non-conformance investigation methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
3. **Root Cause Analysis:** Utilize quality tools and techniques to determine both immediate and underlying causes of product and service discrepancies.
4. **Data Analysis:** Conduct thorough data analysis to identify failure patterns and opportunities for enhancements within our Quality Management System (QMS).
5. **Quality Standards Application:** Demonstrate a solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards and the Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
6. **Performance Reporting:** Prepare quality performance KPI reports and facilitate monthly quality steering committee meetings.
7. **Continuous Improvement:** Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction by analyzing feedback from partners and end-users.

Collaboration and Culture:
1. **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with internal teams to elevate customer satisfaction through improved product and service quality.
2. **Feedback Channels:** Establish effective channels for gathering insights from partners and customers to refine product and service quality.
3. **Customer Metrics Monitoring:** Regularly track customer metrics and provide insightful reports to management and stakeholders.

Leadership and Strategic Direction:
1. **Cross-Departmental Coordination:** Collaborate closely with departments such as Service & Support, R&D, Quality, Production, Sales, and Marketing to swiftly address product and service discrepancies.
2. **Customer Advocacy:** Serve as the advocate for customer-centric approaches in resolving non-conformance issues.

Qualifications:
1. **Educational Background:** Degree in Engineering, Science, or Computing or equivalent qualification.
2. **Quality Management Training:** Evidence of training and certification in Quality Management Systems.

Experience Requirements:
1. **Project Management:** Proven experience in managing projects and programs effectively.
2. **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving both business and technical challenges.
3. **Industry Experience:** Relevant experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, or Robotics sectors is desirable.

Additional Skills:
1. **Communication:** Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. **System Proficiency:** Proficient in using business management systems, including AutoStore's management applications.

Travel Requirements:
This role is primarily office-based but necessitates significant travel to customer locations across the region.
