The Office of Finance and Information Technology (OFIT) plays a crucial role in delivering timely and reliable fiscal and administrative services, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while focusing on the needs of Oregon's children.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Senior Fiscal Analyst, you will be instrumental in:

  1. Budget Development and Management:
    Assisting in the formulation, execution, and oversight of the Department's biennial budget.
  2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    Conducting thorough analysis of expenditures and preparing budget status reports to facilitate effective monitoring and evaluation.
  3. Payroll Projections:
    Providing accurate payroll forecasts across multiple funding sources and maintaining updated projections on a monthly basis.
  4. Customer Engagement:
    Fostering positive relationships and promoting customer service through respectful and courteous interactions.

Qualifications:


To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration.
  • Alternatively, five years of professional experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, or program analysis, including experience in modeling and forecasting fiscal data.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field may substitute for three years of required experience.
