Primary Objective

The Operations Analyst is responsible for gathering and interpreting data to assess operational workflows, address internal challenges, and support intricate decision-making through mathematical modeling and statistical evaluation to predict future results.

Core Duties

  • Investigate and assess issues or trends utilizing analytical tools, focusing on aspects such as supply-demand discrepancies, processing efficiency, capacity management, waste reduction initiatives, and overall farm productivity.
  • Detect operational challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and facilitate solutions.
  • Establish, track, and report on deviations from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the operational division, including metrics related to labor, efficiency, downtime, and waste management.
  • Support the forecasting of operational resources and supply chain elements.
  • Engage with operational leaders and business partners to collect, comprehend, and synthesize data, providing data-informed recommendations for enhancements.
  • Develop compelling presentations to support findings and performance metrics.
  • Work in conjunction with IT to enhance software, technology, and reporting solutions addressing operational issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or over 6 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential, with experience in Power Pivot and Power Query being advantageous.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, capable of creating engaging and effective presentations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptable in managing time and priorities amidst changing tasks.
