Primary Responsibilities

The Operations Analyst is responsible for gathering and interpreting data to assess operational workflows, address internal challenges, and support intricate decision-making through mathematical modeling and statistical evaluation to predict results.

Key Duties

  • Investigate and assess issues and trends utilizing modeling and analytical tools, including supply and demand discrepancies, processing efficiency, capacity management, byproduct minimization, and overall farm productivity.
  • Detect operational challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and assist in solutions.
  • Establish, track, and report on deviations from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the operational division, encompassing labor, throughput, downtime, waste, and more.
  • Support the forecasting of operational needs and supply chain elements.
  • Work alongside operational leaders and business partners to collect, comprehend, and synthesize data, creating data-informed recommendations for enhancements.
  • Develop compelling presentations to support findings and performance metrics.
  • Partner with IT on software, technology, and reporting solutions to address operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or over 6 years of professional experience in a related domain.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with experience in Power Pivot and Power Query being advantageous.
  • Competent in PowerPoint, capable of creating impactful presentations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptable in managing time amidst shifting task priorities.
