Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team at StepStone Hospitality. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register and assign rooms to guests, issue room keys and escort instructions, sort and track incoming mail and messages, transmit and receive messages, and answer inquiries about hotel services and amenities.
  • Room Management: Keep records of room availability and rate, compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests.
  • Reservations and Communication: Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via various communication channels, post charges to guest bills, and make reservations for guests.
  • Valuables and Safety: Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box and ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with various office tasks, accurately report information, and scrupulously follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Mathematical and Computer Skills: Must have good mathematical and computer skills to accurately perform tasks and maintain records.
  • Education and Training: High school education required, relevant training and experience preferred, and additional education or certifications a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, push, bend, stoop, and perform other physical tasks as required.
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of Hotel Departments: Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
  • CPR and First Aid Training: CPR and first aid training preferred.
  • Additional Language Ability: Additional language ability preferred.
