Join Dollar Tree as a Retail Operations Supervisor

At Dollar Tree, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to take on the role of Retail Operations Supervisor. This position is vital in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and activities.
  • Execute all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Assist in safeguarding company assets, including cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for customers and team members.
  • Maintain store standards, including the stockroom and sales floor organization.
  • Provide leadership to hourly Associates when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Administrative Duties:

  • Implement corporate directives related to store operations.
  • Assist in managing the receipt and return of merchandise.
  • Support the Store Manager in staffing and scheduling to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee cashiering activities to ensure adherence to cash handling procedures.
  • Manage promotional displays and seasonal merchandise effectively.
  • Coordinate signage and merchandising to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Process damaged merchandise and maintain supply control.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail and management is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
