The Position:

As the Facility Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of safety protocols, managing staff training, and ensuring exceptional janitorial standards in line with company policies. Your role includes supervising operations, optimizing resource allocation, and delivering effective solutions to maintain cleanliness and safety for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage regularly with clients and staff in a professional and responsive manner, consistent with Servicon's policies, values, mission, and objectives.
  • Ensure the complete implementation and adherence to safety protocols within the facilities. Conduct inspections and evaluations of all areas serviced by assigned personnel for safety and janitorial excellence.
  • Facilitate monthly safety meetings, provide immediate corrections, counseling, and retraining on unsafe practices.
  • Supervise, manage, and train janitorial staff in accordance with client and company expectations. Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify that all work is completed in compliance with specific procedures and scope of work.
  • Implement janitorial policies, procedures, and modifications to ensure sustainable and cost-effective use of staff time, supplies, equipment, and processes. Assist in fulfilling deliverables in client agreements and Statements of Work to the highest standards.
  • Support the Director of Operations and execute the full range of required management responsibilities. Produce a monthly calendar of quality assurance evaluations, gather statistics, and generate account-related reports.
  • Recognize challenges as opportunities and provide effective solutions to assist Project Managers in resolving janitorial and scheduling issues, along with recommendations for enhanced efficiencies.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant managerial experience in Facility Services or a related field.
  • A strong commitment to high-quality service and standards.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, and night shifts.
  • Proficient in computer skills, with a strong command of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with union contracts is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is required.
  • A criminal background check and drug screening are mandatory.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, with a driving record that meets company standards.
