Position Overview

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the HR functions at Eataly North America. This position is responsible for various HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations. The HR Specialist will report directly to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the HRBP and Store Director to implement a comprehensive People strategy from recruitment to separation.

2. Stay informed about recruitment needs and monitor progress on open positions.

3. Manage the recruitment process utilizing the Applicant Tracking System: posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

4. Organize in-store hiring events and engage in external job fairs.

5. Prepare and send offer letters and onboarding documentation; follow up with new hires regarding their start date and orientation.

6. Facilitate new hire orientation and assist new employees in completing onboarding paperwork as needed.

7. Maintain employee records through the Human Resources Information System, including training tracking, status changes, and separations.

8. Assist in the preparation and organization of training sessions, employee meetings, and staff development classes.

9. Serve as a point of contact for employees, fostering engagement activities and addressing inquiries and requests.

10. Promote awareness and understanding of the benefits offerings available at Eataly.

11. Support the HRBP with data analysis and metrics.

12. Conduct and evaluate exit interviews to identify areas for improvement in existing processes.

13. Ensure adherence to state and federal laws, regulations, directives, and policies.

14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
