About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at First Horizon National Corporation. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Maintain a portfolio of commercial clients, including existing and new relationships, to drive revenue growth and asset quality.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Credit Analysis and Decision Making: Work with management and underwriters to analyze credit strengths and weaknesses of prospective borrowers, make loan decision recommendations, and structure loans to protect the bank's interests.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their financial needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bank's lending policies and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with management, underwriters, and other team members to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
