About the Role

Mimecast is seeking a highly skilled Senior Channel Account Manager to join our dynamic Channel Sales Organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales success and contributing to the broader strategic goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Go-To-Market Plans: Collaborate with our quota-carrying Account Executives to build and execute business plans with identified focus partners.
  • Align Sales Organization: Drive targeted demand generation and alignment activities to ensure the sales organization is aligned with partner goals.
  • Provide Enablement and Support: Drive resources to provide enablement activities at both the Sales and SE level to ensure partners have the necessary support to succeed.
  • Executive Alignment: Provide executive alignment with partner stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Accurately forecast partner opportunities in conjunction with the direct sales teams and manage a budget for the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class experience for partners.
  • Accountability and Performance: Hold partners and stakeholders accountable to agreed-upon goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong Sales Background: A strong track record in technology sales or channel sales experience.
  • Enterprise and Partner Experience: Experience managing large enterprises and/or partner relationships.
  • Partner Landscape Knowledge: Understanding of the partner landscape within the region.
  • Sales and Forecasting Skills: Understanding of opportunity qualification, running a deal cycle, and forecasting.
  • Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Extremely strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work within a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
