About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Computing Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share in the fintech industry vertical by uncovering and winning new workloads, GenAI opportunities, and migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer success with early, mid, and late-stage startups
  • Drive revenue growth and market share in the fintech industry vertical
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets
  • Accelerate customer growth and scale through well-developed sales motions, successful GTM strategy, and deep engagement with Founders, CxO, and VP-level stakeholders, Board of Directors, and VC influencers
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory plan and data-driven, strategic account plans
  • Build and expand long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Effectively work with AWS partners to extend reach and drive scale and leverage for your customers
  • Obsess over customers - not competitors - and always ensure customer satisfaction
  • Think and operate like an owner, never sacrificing long-term value for short-term results

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales, or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
  • Experience in technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services
