Account Executive Position Summary

Spanish Broadcasting System is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Account Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current and potential advertising accounts to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.
  • Prospect and develop sales strategies to acquire new business and expand our customer base.
  • Service and maintain existing accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our sales strategies are aligned with market needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans and strategies.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in media sales or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of media experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to create and present compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of radio broadcast sales tools, including Arbitron rating numbers and Wide Orbit.
