Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer priorities and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction.
  • Balance customer operational needs with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for senior customer representatives, ensuring their requirements are addressed efficiently.
  • Resolve customer issues with a focus on sustainable solutions.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers and engineering firms.
Technical Support and Expertise:

Your role will encompass all stages of the value chain requiring technical and operational input, from pre-sales to project execution and ongoing support.

  • Develop a thorough operational understanding of customer facilities and provide necessary technical input during various project phases.
  • Offer technical guidance on automation and control systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Design commissioning, start-up, and training plans alongside project managers and engineers.
  • Oversee all commissioning projects to ensure reliability and ongoing customer support.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges related to ethanol production and Whitefox systems.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to ensure optimal system performance.
Team Development and Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of customer service representatives and engineers.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Set performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams to ensure effective communication and support.
Travel and On-Site Support:
  • Travel to customer locations to strengthen relationships.
  • Support training sessions and presentations for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during site visits.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address customer feedback and improve solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in technology that may complement or compete with Whitefox offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ethanol production processes and automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team development experience.
  • Proven background in the ethanol industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
