Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide daily operations and provide support to the team to achieve set objectives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to meet company targets by clearly communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and assessing job outcomes and employee performance.
  • Make informed decisions, apply concepts to moderately complex issues, and address challenges through immediate action or short-term strategies.
  • Oversee the activities of hourly staff involved in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and product repair.
  • Establish clear expectations regarding production output, environmental health and safety compliance, and quality standards.
  • Manage daily workflows, job assignments, and shift support coordination.
  • Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture among all employees.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Compile and analyze production data, including quality metrics, on-time delivery, and effective hours, providing weekly updates to management.
  • Assist in coordinating production improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new employees, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and developing training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Production/Operations Management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to influence others and lead small teams effectively.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to cultivate trusting relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in coordinating activities within functional areas and collaborating with other teams to achieve results.
  • Background in hiring and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience in performance management and employee terminations.
  • Familiarity with defining work shifts/schedules.
  • Experience in coaching and training employees.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems, with proficiency in AX-2012.

This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware regulated by U.S. export laws. Candidates must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in U.S. law.
