Market Expansion Specialist

Katy Spring & Mfg. Inc. is in search of a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist. As a frontrunner in the precision spring manufacturing sector, we emphasize our dedication to quality and innovation. We seek a skilled individual who can assist in broadening our market reach, foster enduring client partnerships, and pinpoint new business prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies potential markets and trends, customer segments, and strategies for engagement.
- Secures new business and nurtures relationships with potential clients to meet sales objectives.
- Records and leverages information within Katy Spring's CRM system.
- Engages with current clients to sustain relationships.
- Re-establishes connections with underperforming clients by devising innovative strategies and solutions to enhance existing business.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships at various organizational levels.
- Participates in sales meetings, providing updates on pipeline and other sales-related matters to the team.
- Prepares and presents technical demonstrations that elucidate Katy Spring's products and services to clients and prospects.
- Addresses and resolves customer inquiries regarding sales and service matters.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Compensation Package:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $60K to $70K, plus commission.
- Comprehensive benefits package including a 401K plan with matching contributions.
- Health insurance options with 75% of costs covered by Katy Spring, including:
- Three health plan options
- Dental, vision, and life insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial sales.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong account management, acquisition, retention, and development capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn about a new industry.
- High level of initiative, sound judgment, and self-motivation.
- Proficient in using a Customer Relationship Management system to manage business relationships and associated data.
