Market Expansion Specialist

Katy Spring & Mfg. Inc. is in search of a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist. As a frontrunner in the precision spring manufacturing sector, we are dedicated to quality and innovation. We seek a skilled individual to enhance our market footprint, foster enduring client partnerships, and uncover new business avenues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies market opportunities and trends, target customers, and strategic approaches to engage them.
- Secures new business and cultivates relationships with potential clients to meet sales objectives.
- Records and manages information within Katy Spring's CRM system.
- Engages with current clients to sustain and strengthen relationships.
- Re-establishes connections with underperforming customers by devising innovative strategies and solutions to enhance existing business.
- Builds and nurtures customer relationships across various levels within the organization.
- Participates in sales meetings, providing updates on pipeline and other sales-related matters to the team.
- Prepares and presents technical demonstrations that articulate Katy Spring's products and services to clients and prospects.
- Addresses and resolves customer inquiries related to sales and service.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Compensation Package:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $60K to $70K, plus commission.
- Comprehensive benefits package including a 401K plan with matching contributions.
- Health insurance options with 75% of costs covered by Katy Spring, including:
- Three health plan options
- Dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial sales.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong skills in account management, acquisition, retention, and development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a new industry.
- High initiative, sound judgment, and self-motivation.
- Proficient in using a Customer Relationship Management system to manage business relationships and associated data.
