Summary/Objective:

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are looking for dedicated part-time Ticket Sales Associates for the upcoming season. This role involves collaborating with the Ticket Operations Manager in the Box Office, focusing on processing ticket transactions and delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sale, refund, upgrade, and exchange of various ticket types for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and other events at the venue.
  • Handle, account for, and deposit all received funds and payments accurately.
  • Prepare and submit balanced daily sales reports.
  • Deliver OUTSTANDING customer service by warmly greeting, assisting, and expressing gratitude to patrons.
  • Serve as a liaison between the public and sales staff for group and season ticket inquiries.
  • Verify entitlement and distribute Will Call tickets, including group and season sales, individual game tickets, and drop-offs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

To be considered, candidates should possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a retail environment and/or cash handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Physical capability to walk, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary; ability to lift various objects.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including potential overtime and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Work Environment:

This position is primarily based in an indoor, climate-controlled environment, operating within a box office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers will be utilized. The role may involve high activity levels in a crowded outdoor sports venue, with noise levels that can vary from moderate to loud.

The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those necessary for successful job performance. Specific vision abilities required include close and focused vision, and the individual must be able to work in an office environment for extended periods.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

No travel is anticipated for this position.
