Job Summary:

A Patient Access Representative is a vital member of the Osceola Medical Center team, responsible for ensuring seamless patient access to medical treatment. This role involves answering incoming calls, meeting patient needs, and performing scheduling and registration duties for patients requiring services in various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering Incoming Calls: Respond to patient inquiries and provide assistance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Registration: Coordinate patient appointments, gather necessary information, and complete registration tasks efficiently.
  • Patient Flow Management: Ensure smooth patient flow by greeting patients promptly, gathering data, and adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a cheerful and approachable presence in the facility.
Work Schedule:

This role requires a flexible schedule, including:

  • Monday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Tuesday: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday: Off
  • Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED/HSED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude

A minimum of 1 year of experience in patient access is preferred but not required.
