Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, prepare, and update Authorization Packages for Automated Information Systems (AIS)
  • Inform stakeholders of any changes that may impact AIS authorization
  • Conduct self-assessments of AIS, ensuring security coordination and reviewing all system test plans
  • Identify vulnerabilities within AIS and implement necessary countermeasures
  • Represent the organization in various technical review and inspection teams
  • Perform security evaluations at subordinate facilities and compile relevant security documentation for system authorization
  • Coordinate, prepare, and monitor AIS inspections, reports, and responses
  • Maintain security records for AIS and draft Co-Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating in government facilities
  • Generate reports on the status of security measures applied to computer systems
  • Ensure that AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in compliance with security policies
  • Execute ISSO duties in support of both internal and external clients
  • Assist various organizations with the development of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts
  • Review, track, and deliver AIS training
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
  • Must meet position and certification requirements as outlined in DoD Directive M for IAT Level 1 or IAM Level 1 within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with current security policies and manuals
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with various military, civilian personnel, and industry partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Exhibit a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR)
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment
  • Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Constant operation of computers and other office machinery
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,000-$129,200, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications. ManTech also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement savings, and professional development opportunities.
