The Reliability Assurance Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the dependability of components, machinery, and operational processes. This position involves the development and implementation of analytical methodologies to assess and enhance reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at improving reliability that align with operational objectives.
  • Offer technical guidance and leadership to enhance the reliability and performance of fixed assets.
  • Employ advanced Reliability-Centered Maintenance technologies for the monitoring and upgrading of equipment.
  • Enhance equipment reliability while managing maintenance costs through effective Preventive and Predictive Maintenance initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor reliability metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Utilize root cause analysis alongside maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and repetitive repairs.
  • Oversee that equipment inspections and preventive maintenance are conducted and properly documented.
  • Identify training needs for technical skills related to inspection and condition-based monitoring.
  • Contribute to the establishment of Maintenance Standards for equipment repair and calibration.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Exhibit problem-solving and decision-making skills that promote alignment within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on heavy industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance and predictive maintenance methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in statistical reliability analysis methods is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Experience in project management and execution.
  • Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as necessary, along with the ability to travel when required.

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is required, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.

Additional Skills:

Experience with electrical systems is a plus.
