Job Title: Director of Contract Budgets

Join the City of New York as a Director of Contract Budgets and play a crucial role in managing the budget and financial aspects of our contract-based programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and financial management of our contracts, ensuring that we are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the budget and financial aspects of our contract-based programs, including budget planning, financial reporting, and contract administration.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our contract-based programs are aligned with the City's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to our contract managers and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that we are getting the best value for our money.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a government or non-profit setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
