Job Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Logistics Operations Supervisor at Distinctive Beach Rentals, a member of the VTrips family, is tasked with ensuring the operational excellence of the designated site while overseeing personnel to guarantee top-tier service for both guests and property owners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guarantees that all operational procedures are executed in compliance with established company policies, including but not limited to procurement, inventory oversight, key management, and stakeholder relations.
  • Oversees housekeeping functions, including inventory preparation and scheduling.
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with property owners, suppliers, and independent service providers.
  • Establishes operational frameworks for newly acquired properties while sustaining existing operations and workforce.
  • Evaluates and assesses the performance of independent contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with agreed standards and quality expectations.
  • Recruits, mentors, and manages staff to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Oversees the financial performance of the location from an expense management perspective.
  • Addresses escalated issues from guests and property owners.
  • Conducts audits on property maintenance and cleanliness standards.
  • Identifies and secures new properties within the local market.
  • Acts as the primary emergency contact.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of three years of management experience in property management or hospitality sectors.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Activities: Predominantly sedentary with some walking/standing.

Lifting: Must be able to push and lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.

Vision: Requires close-up work on a computer screen.

Mental Demands: Must possess problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Environmental: Work is conducted in a climate-controlled environment.
