Position: Cultivation Operations Supervisor
Salary: Exempt
Location: Madison, FL

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Cultivation Operations Supervisor is a vital, hands-on role responsible for overseeing daily activities at the cultivation site. Reporting directly to the Site Administrator, this position provides essential support to all cultivation personnel, including scheduling, training, and updates on policies and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all cultivation activities and staff at the designated facility.
  • Ensure timely achievement of production targets.
  • Collaborate with support teams to meet production requirements.
  • Delegate tasks to cultivation staff to maintain compliance and cleanliness.
  • Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and Best Management Practices.
  • Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
  • Produce safe, high-quality products for patients.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Respond to all incidents promptly.
  • Report incidents to the Site Administrator as soon as feasible.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all garden operations.
  • Be knowledgeable about the tools and equipment necessary for facility operations.
  • Implement safety protocols and considerations.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Control access to restricted areas.
  • Introduce continuous improvement strategies to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Proven capability to manage change and challenge existing processes.
  • Strong consultative and partnership skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications; Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of at least 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods, maintain balance while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to perform tasks frequently.

Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is available for this position. The role typically requires an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies.
