Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Go Software Engineer to join our esteemed client in the technology sector.

Compensation: $70 - $80 per hour (W2)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create robust, scalable back-end solutions using Go for RESTful API development, along with SQL database design and maintenance, unit testing, and documentation.
  • Candidates should have a strong foundation in software development and engineering best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Go programming.
  • Write and validate software according to established specifications and designs.
  • Evaluate and interpret complex system requirements.
  • Design software tools and subsystems to promote reuse and efficient software development.
  • Apply sound engineering principles to ensure that the developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, and fault-tolerant.
  • Manage and oversee the software development process throughout the coding phase.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Software Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Go programming.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing REST API endpoints.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. The pay range provided reflects a W2 hourly rate; alternative employment arrangements may result in different compensation.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for a variety of benefits, including medical (with a choice of three plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, and other voluntary benefits such as life and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
