  • Robust scripting experience in languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Exceptional research skills with a focus on testing implementations prior to deployment in production.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (mathematics, engineering, computer science, physics, etc.).
  • Proficiency assessment demonstrating command line capabilities without internet access, external assistance, and limited peripherals.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • A good sense of humor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in scientific and/or engineering code development.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet, CFEngine, Chef).
  • Comprehensive understanding of network technologies and security.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Familiarity with RHEL derivatives like CentOS, specifically EL 7 and 8.
