General Overview
  • Engages in advanced professional tasks related to the planning, design, and execution of municipal engineering projects.
  • Oversees design and construction processes for public infrastructure initiatives.
  • Develops engineering designs, comprehensive reports, and cost estimates for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates and collaborates in the creation of designs, drawings, estimates, and specifications for municipal engineering projects.
  • Evaluates Development Standards and suggests necessary modifications.
  • Secures rights-of-way and easements for project execution.
  • Participates in professional gatherings and remains informed about industry advancements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in municipal engineering.
Special Credentials:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.
