About the Role:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Senior Project Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Mechanical Engineering and be well-versed in project management tools such as Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, your duties will include:
1. Overseeing and directing engineering projects in the water and wastewater sector from start to finish.
2. Utilizing your expertise in Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office to streamline project execution, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
3. Crafting and managing project timelines, cost projections, and progress reports.
4. Collaborating with diverse teams, including contractors, designers, and clients to achieve project goals.
5. Evaluating and endorsing engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
6. Applying your knowledge in RFI to address intricate engineering challenges and enhance project results.
7. Guaranteeing compliance with safety protocols and quality benchmarks throughout all projects.
8. Providing mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a cooperative and inclusive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
2. At least 2 years of experience in project engineering, particularly within the water and wastewater domain.
3. Proficiency in Procore, P6, Microsoft Office, and RFI.
4. Strong project management capabilities, with a proven history of leading successful engineering initiatives.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration with varied teams.
7. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
8. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
