Senior Project Engineer Opportunity in Water/Wastewater Sector

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to become a vital member of our team at Jobot. This position focuses on overseeing the execution of water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Engineer, your primary duties will include:

1. Directing and managing engineering projects from conception through to completion, specifically within the water and wastewater domain.
2. Utilizing your expertise in project management software such as Procore and P6 to enhance project delivery and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
3. Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, cost assessments, and progress reports.
4. Collaborating with diverse teams, including contractors, designers, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
5. Evaluating and approving engineering designs, plans, and specifications to meet project requirements.
6. Applying your knowledge of Requests for Information (RFI) to address complex engineering challenges and enhance project results.
7. Upholding safety regulations and quality standards throughout all project phases.
8. Mentoring junior engineers, promoting a supportive and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of project engineering experience, particularly in the water and wastewater sector.
3. Proficiency in Procore, P6, Microsoft Office, and RFI processes.
4. Strong project management capabilities, demonstrated through successful project leadership.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with various teams.
7. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
8. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
