Role SummaryWe are in search of a knowledgeable Senior Financial Accountant to collaborate with the Finance Director in managing the fiscal responsibilities of the Housing & Homemaking Department. This role encompasses essential accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable processing, reconciliations, and month-end financial close.
Compensation and Benefits- Salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience

This position reports directly to the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly Rent Payment Processing: Utilize Quickbooks Online to manage monthly rent subsidies and execute check payments.
- Housing Subsidy Data Management: Work closely with the Housing team to track rent subsidy payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Data Integrity and Reporting: Reconcile Housing Department data with fiscal records for reporting purposes and implement quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
- General Accounting Duties: Manage invoice processing, account reconciliations, and assist with annual audit preparations.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property accounting or non-profit financial management
- Strong grasp of GAAP principles
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Effective communication abilities for teamwork
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process documentation
- Experience in non-profit or social service environments is advantageous
- In-office work required during business hours
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Work involves repetitive movements due to computer use
