We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Valve Sales Representative to join our team at Puffer-Sweiven. As a leading provider of process control, automation, safety, and reliability solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes, including product sizing, selection, and pricing, to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical, commercial, and general sales support to customers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Evaluate RFQs, ensuring proposed solutions meet customer needs, and manage workload to meet customer deadlines.
  • Manage changes to customer requirements, reducing non-conformance and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to achieve a high hit rate of conversion to orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in customer meetings to ensure clear communication of customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Assistant to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical proficiency with represented products and internal business systems.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to team processes and tools to increase efficiency and customer dependency.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to log customer interactions, quotations, orders, projects, and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of relief valves, rupture discs, and tank protection products.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an inside sales representative or equivalent in a technical sales environment.
  • High level of PC proficiency, including MS Office, principal supplied software, internal business system, and internet.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
